A Mix of Old and New

REMINDER : The proposed closure of Old Alder Lane by Warrington Borough Council with respect to vehicles, except those accessing buildings in the lane, will affect all Winwick enthusiasts profoundly. Please send your objections, with reasons, to the name and address below:-

Jo Nugent,

Senior Legal Assistant,
Quattro Building,
New Town House,
Buttermarket Street,
Warrington,
WA1 2NH.

Quote NET/119 when writing.

The closing date for objections is October 4th, so get cracking....

It appears that the threatened closure may be related to the proliferation of litter which, of course, has nothing to do with us; make sure you let them know. The litter problem may be linked to the anti-social behaviour that we witness from time to time, although most is carried out when we are not present i.e. in the late evening.

Today's post, 28th September 2012, comprises fourteen pics from eight contributors; they cover many locations from Winwick  to Germany, and three decades (80's, 90's and the present one).
