The Pendolino in my picture, 390 052, is named after Alison Waters, a squash player with high hopes of a medal. Other athletes sponsored in the same unique way include Jessica Varnish, cycling (390 027); Beth Tweddle, gymnastics (390 022) and Abigail Urozuru, athletics (390 008). The location for my picture was Red Bank and the date, 1st March 2012.
